hi i recently got the code p1140 intake valve timing control position sensor-- lh bank 1 . can anyone tell me what part need to be replaced. is it the camshat position sensor, crankshaft position sensor or solenoid.. i am really confused. if it is the camshaft position sensor the code that poped out,,, is it for the passenger side or the driver side? for example i u open the hood facing the engine is the sensor on the left or right (if right,, it is close to the airfilter,, if it is on the leftside it is closeer to the battery) if it is not the camshaft then what is it. recently i unplugged the battery for good 7-8 hrs, the service engine light was clear drove for 1-2 miles , turned off the engine and turned it back-- the service engine light cam back.. same code--p1140 intake valve timing control position sensor bank 1
