My 2001 Nissan Pathfinder's engine sounds very ticky. It has new spark plugs, and the Idle Air Control Valve is know to be bad (which is why I have to hold it up at the beginning to keep it from stalling). I'm changing it tomorrow once the new one arrives. I just changed the oil to 5W-30 Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic Blend, which seems to have helped a little bit after starting it a few times. It seems like the tick is coming from near or under the Intake Plenum. The only code is P0505, which is for the valve. The belt thing is believed to be the AC Compressor, which is too expensive to bother fixing. Here's a video where you can kind of hear the ticking.

I listened and don't really hear the ticking. Sorry.

Same here, I think it is just the fuel injectors making the ticking noise which is normal...

I think I hear the tick but it doesn't sound like anything to worry about to my untrained ear. I'll try to remember to see if I can hear it on mine and report back.
