Not sure if this is the right place for this..but here it goes..I recently bought a used 2001 nissan maxima se..the engine light was off but came on n went of randomly.it only takes throttle from 0 to 1/4 or 1/2 by rolling the throttle it gains speed.its done that for a month or so.i recently changed the plennum gasket it stool didn't fix the problem.well now it's getting worst now it only takes fuel up to 1/4 throttle n sometimes it sputters till I let of fully then back in to the throttle..any ideas?i just purchased a fuel filter hoping that's what it is but still not sure the code po137 comes up.but the guy I bought it from had this issue him self as I found a ton of recipes from different auto places.the car has 150000 plus miles thanks in advanced any help would b apreciated

Check the throttle body for obstructions.

I can push the throttle all the way but the engine only responds gives power up to half.if I roll on the throttle up to well was 1/2 now is 1/4 the motor acts as if it's starving for gas.im getting a lean code and under the hood it sounds like an air leak.
