Hello,
My 2001 Maxima has a problem where sometimes the automatic transmission gets stuck between gears or stuck in first or second. Stopping the car and turning it off for about two minutes when this happens is a temporary fix but not very convenient. According to what I've read, the Transmission Control Module could be having problems. Before I start looking for one, does that sound about right? The on-board diagnostic check shows no errors.
