trying to find location of speed control module

I don't recall any Speed Control Module in the Maxima. Are you referring to the Cruise Control or ASCD (Automatic Speed Control Device) Control Unit? It's located below the dashboard, behind the audio control panel. If you know the location of the ECM (Engine Control Module, besides the gas pedal), the ASCD control unit should be above it.

thanks this means i have to pull the plastic part of the dash centre panel out and find it behind the radio. correct?? what a dumb place to place it. thanks DAn

In the A32, the ASCD Control Unit is on the driver side of the dashboard, besides the flasher unit. I don't know why they move it towards the center in the A33. If you cannot access it from behind the panel, then you have to remove the AC-radio panel.
