Need front and right mounts. Repair shop wants like $260 for the front and $166 for the right side plus $435 for labor. So $857 or so total. Unreal. I know you guys here know of good quality and good priced mounts. Where do u guys recommend buying them and from who? Any certain brands to avoid? What brand is oem?

That's very expensive !

I have replaced my passenger side mount with Anchor (part #9031) from RockAuto.com (now $27, was ~ $45 when I bought it last year). It works just fine. They have other mounts. Also, be aware of the dangers associated with electronic mounts (only F +R; they can fry your ECU). Most people now use the "MT" mounts when replacing.

It took my mechanic about 20 minutes to replace it; he charged me $70.. You can DIY ... it's not that hard.

You can also search E-bay

Only AT (Auto Transmission) Maximas have electronic mounts, and only the Front mount and the Rear mount are electronic. The Passenger and Driver side mount are never electronic.

"MT" refers to mounts used on the Manual Transmission (MT) models. MT Maximas only use non-electronic mounts.

Check out the parts catalog at RockAuto.com.

Regarding the trans mount
The four bolts that mount it to the transmission come out
The through pin seems jammed up.
Anyone snap the head off of it trying to remove It?
