2001 infinity qx4 starting problem

cranks good but doesnt start .sometimes if i turn on ignition and wait for a few seconds it will start or sometimes slightly pressing accelerator will help it start.when it starts it runs good. no error codes on ecm (obd2) check engine light goes off when it starts.what is the problem

About the only thing you have ruled out is the starter motor works correctly.

Does the security led flash when it won't start?

How does it start when you've left it parked for 10 mins, versus leaving it overnight?

If it starts easily when the engine is warm, but has trouble when left for at least a few hours, it could be the fuel pressure is slowly bleeding off. Turning the key to 'ON' for a few seconds before cranking the engine will cause the fuel pump to reprime the fuel system.
