I had replaced the passenger side wheel bearing/lower control arm/lower ball joint... I was going into work on my day off to unload a truck.. and as I pulled into the parking lot... (only going about 5-10mph) my lower ball joint failed... and of course you know what happened... the cv axle fell out of my transaxle, but it doesn't seem like anything else besides the ball joint failed or broke from the result of it failing.. I'm going to post some pictures, but excuse my car knowledge(never technically certified, all self taught) but if you grab the cv axe close to the wheel hub and grab the section that goes into the transaxle.. should that beable to seperate a tad? .. also is there anything else visually bent or broken? it SEEMS i got lucky.. but I wanted to get some advice before I do the controlarm/ball joint job.. so as to not have to go back under it soon after..... thanks guys.. any help would be appreciative!

What did the accident do to the axle retainer ( the three bolt holder)
between the transaxle and the cv axle? Seem like that would have
held the shaft in-i guess not. You might check that to make sure
its not damaged
