Everyone

I have a 2001 Infiniti I30 that the ABS light started coming on intermittently and now it's on most of the time. Many people here suggested it's the ABS wheel sensors or the ABS relays. There is a buzzing sound when I turn off the engine and that's why I want to check the relays first.

Now, there is a plastic box located towards the front of the engine with relays and two are labeled ABS (motor and something else I think). I opened it but in those slots there is nothing (and no plugs either). Any idea where the relays are?

And also, is there a way to pull the ABS fault codes just by looking at an LED somewhere (I read that too I think). My OBDII reader cannot pull anything even with the Japanese cartridge in there...

Any help would be greately appreciated!

I Have an ABS computer if it turns out that this is the problem. The Beige box with a steel bracket.

I tried to buy a smart entrance control unit from a guy online, and he sent me the ABS module instead. If you need it, let me know.

I believe that my '95 J30 is now having a similar problem. My son was driving it today and the ABS light is coming on and staying on. There is a very annoying buzzing coming from engine...at about the 11:00 position if looking at the engine. There is a little black "box" and silver/steel compartment with "Nippon ABS" on it and that seems to be where the buzzing (and vibrating) is coming from.

Any ideas or thoughts on what is going on...and what I need to/should do?

Thanks!
