2001 infiniti I30 brakes question

hey i just bought a 2001 silver infiniti I30 and i think it has some brakes issues like it makes this very laugh noise everytime i brake or turn and specially when the road its wet i was wondering what should i do....i dont know much about cars i dont wanna take my car to one of those shops places and im sure there gonna over charge me ....please help me out
