I have a 2001 Infiniti I-30 with the standard Bose stereo. I want to upgrade my stereo to a touch screen with Bluetooth capabilities. As an FYI, I don't plan on upgrading the speakers.
- Is there a particular name brand that is recommended?
- What should I look for before purchasing the stereo?
- The two local installers in Hagerstown, MD told me it would be approximately $600 for the stereo and installation. This seems pricey to me. Can you recommend anybody in MD that is reputable and reasonable?
- How difficult would it be for me to install the stereo myself?
- What challenges am I facing as far as connecting the new stereo to the steering wheel controls?
