Daughters car. Sometimes when driving normal speeds the trans does not shift. She pulls over and shifts into neutral and sometime this helps. Anyone have similar problems. I don't think it's mechanical but trouble with some type of sensor.

is the transmission fluid clear, when was the last change - was it flushed or drain/fill and filter, what's the fluid level, any cel codes ???

Try a trans drain and refill, replacing the filter and gasket. I do not recommend a flush at all. Do the drain and refill to see if that fixes the issue. If not, and your CEL is on, check to make sure it is not 'gear (1, 2, 3, or 4) insufficient'. If this is the case, then it's time for a new transmission.
