Didn't find anything when I ran a search on this. After the car sets overnight, there is a really strong Mold Smell inside. It's my wife's car so I thought she had left something under the seat. All clear. She has been running the AC and was just wondering if the AC drain plug might be clogged? Does anyone have any ideas? Is the drain plug on the passager side under the car...below the AC coil? Any pics would help before I go fishing for it.

My guesses;1) Leaky trunk2) Leaky heater core3) Mud, debris plugging up the AC drainage port for condensate

If you are running the AC, you should have a puddle of waterunder your car after letting it sit a while. If not, you may havea stopped up drain port

Dirty cabin air filter perhaps?

Here's an update

I checked the drain and it seems to be ok. I did run the AC for about 15 minutes and no water was draining out. Maybe it's clogged inside the car. I don't see any water inside however....it was about 70 degree with very little humidity...maybe not hot enough to cause condensation? I'll check the cabin filter...I haven't changed it since we got the car. Does anyone know if they make anything that kills mold? Would bleach with water be ok to pour into the vents by the wipers...would it make it's way through the drain. Also thought about shooting some compressed air in the drain from the bottom of the car? Maybe this might unclog things?? The smell is not as bad now...

Thanks for your help!!!
