We purchase the car last week, and I haven't been able to get it to start right. First it would start, but I had to give it gave to keep it running. I took to the mechanic. He told me the the pin in the Idle Air Control motor was sticking. He said he could try cleaning it, but Infiniti told him in 7 out of 10 times it would probably have to be replaced. We did replace it because i didn't want to be out somewhere , and it not be able to start. I don't have a cell phone. When I drove it home Friday there was white smoke coming from exhaust, accompanied by a funny smell. I was unable to get the car to crank after i turned it off. It would start without giving it any gas, but immediately go dead. If I gave it more gas when I cranked it it sounded as though it was missing or sort of backfire .There was a great deal of work done of this car 8 weeks before we purchased it. IncludingRepair engine harness to rear crank sensorreplaced air flow meter, spark plugs and reprogramed E.C.CMFound wire to rear crnk sensor cut and repaired found air flow meter shorted due to clogged air filter plugs fouled.Any information you might be able to give me will be greatly appreciated.

Take it to the dealer.

Don't do anyhing other than take it to the dealer. God knows what has happened to the car.

Take it to the dealer-there is no way that anyone can fix this car via the internet-take it to the dealer.
