2001 Frontier Cabin Air Filter

Has anyone ever changed out a Cabin Air Filter on a 2001 Nissan Frontier?

I've done it in an 03. Basically you have to remove the glovebox. All the provisions are behind the glovebox. It's good to repplace the filter once a year.

I pulled the glove box but could not find where the filters would be. Any help?

Are you sure the '01 had a cabin air filter? The FSM for the '01 doesn't mention one, but the '02 does... perhaps it wasn't available until the '02 model year?

I just got an 01 frontier and do not see a filter behind the glove box. Courtesy Parts lists one, but I guess our year does not have it.
