2001 B15 foglight help/ struts

Hey everyone i'm new here and I have a 2001 sentra gxe... I have a couple questions. My car didn't come stock with fog lights I am looking to put them in. i obviously need a new switch assembly (I think) as well as a wiring harness and kit. My fuse box has an open slot for fogs which is a good sign. Any thoughts or suggestion? I am also looking to install HID's using one of the other posts on here. Is there a total solution for boh my headlights and foglights? My other question is about my rims. I recently mounted 205 45 r17s on my rims which measure 17in by 8.5 wide. I feel like the ride has greatly suffered, but it is also time for new struts as I have reach 68,000 miles with the originals. Anything that I can do to replace the struts with a little bit of a smoother ride? (by the way i am not looking to lower the car) thanks in advance.

I would try KYB-GR-2 or KYB AGX for upgrades and as far as wheels you have to remember you adding weight towards your suspension. Take a look on Tirerack.com and click on your model of car year, they will show you all kind of wheels etc. but they also show you the Weight of the wheels too. Also the less weight more $$$ and more weight is less $$$. The less weight the better. I have 205/40/17's on my B-13 and they run about 20-21lbs. they run very fine and stright. I can remember I had a set of 17's OZ Racing wheels w/new tires on my 2001 Nissan Maxima the ride was not good at all and I bought the car brand new. So, I went with a new pair of 18's and they drove GREAT!! . Also my B-13 is lowerd and my Maxima is lowerd 2inches too. What is your brand name on your wheels anyway?? SEEEE YAAAA

Are you sure your wheels are 8.5in wide? I bet those 205s are stretched a bit to get on there, and what kind of offset are the wheels?

Essentially I'm wondering if you're rubbing.

As for the fogs, the wiring harness should be all set for them. Check around the front bumper area where the fogs would go and look for a plug.

As for the suspension, there are no KYB AGX for 00-06 Sentras. If you just want OE replacements (which is what it sounds like), get the KYB GR2's.
