Hello, new to the forum. 3 questions about my 2001 se. A great car with 138000 miles with no problems till now.1. Both seat heaters no longer work. Pulled fuse and it is fine. Any thoughts?2. Power seat switch for forward and back sticks. Wife scared herself and pushed herself into the steering wheel. Any thoughts?3.Dealership said that inner tie rods were wearing....said to keep an eye on them....How do you know when they are worn? What is the worst thing that can happen?ThanksWalter

Take the power switch out and clean it. If that doesn't help replace it. Inner rods in the rack will start to develop play. Its basically like a ball in a cup design. Worst case in breaking one, you turn the steering wheel, one wheel turns and the other doesn't causing you to plow foward. Inner rods are pretty cheap, it will take maybe 2 hours max to install both if you know what you are doing. You need to get the car to alignment place asap after you do it.
