2001 altima pulley help

well my wifes idler pulley siezed up and the belt broke. i got the nut loose for the pulley but there is not enough room to take the pulley off. How do you get it off, do i have to jack up the engine? take other stuff off? or what. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
