Will the rotors and calipers from a 2000 Q45 fit on a 1990 Q45?

Any good points?

Any bad points?

I found a newer Q with 32k on the odo and went for the vented rear brakes. Question is, should I go for the fronts as well.

Thanks for any input guys.............John

Can't use 15" wheels.

FY33 front disc is lightly larger in circumference, and heavier.

FY33 rear disc (also J30 rear disc) is the same size, but vented so requires thicker caliper. All should bolt right up.

Theyll work.. I believe that the calipers on the G50 and Y33 are the same, its just the brackets are different... Could be worng so dont quote me.....

AS brian said, the 296mm front rotors will not clear the 15in wheels...

All your going to be doing is increasing rotor mass, your not increasing the clamping force of the caliper... Which is primarily why I think the Z32 brakes win, you increase rotor mass (not much though) but you DOUBLE the front clamping force by the calipers......

The fixed caliper design is superior, IMO

You will decrease stopping power, but not enough to justify the swap, IMO....
