my brother needed my truck this afternoon so i let him borrow it. before that i went filled her up and she was running great. i drove her for a while and no signs of any problems no check engine light or nothing. my brother said he stopped at a stopped sign and she just died. i went to take a look at her after i got out of work tried turning her on. The engine sounds like it wants to turn over but does not. theres also this clicking noise coming from the distributor area. Im thinking its the cap and rotor(hopefully not the distributor). also i was thinking maybe a possibility of it being the fuel pump or filter. Any one have any other suggestions PLEASE let me know.

If you're getting a clicking when you turn the key instead of the starter turning, you have a dead battery. Look for corrosion junk on the posts first and then get it tested.

Fuel delivery is another possibility. You've listed the first things to check.

the battery is fine got it tested at autozone. i changed the fuel filter, its no the fuel pump because i hear the humming of the fuel pump working. i changed the distributor cap and rotor also. Now what i did find its blowing a ignition control fuse. i changed that and the truck started again like a champ but, it blew the fuse twice yesterday and today tried to start it and it would not turn over.
