I saw some posts on this problem but no working solution. The car is an automatic. I believe it only starts stalling when warmed up so it leads me to believe it's an egr valve issue. In any case, when the gas is let off like going into a turn or coming to a stop the rpms dip which frequently results in a stall. It seems like the power steering and/or break assist (i'm not sure if there is one) will facilitate the stalling process so pumping the breaks or keeping the wheel straight will sometime prevent the stall. I guess the engine is for some reason lacking power at idle. Any ideas on why this occurs? Mechanics that I've taken it to are completely baffled and seem to have only impractical solutions like change the plugs and filters...which has already been done. Could this be some kind of problem with the computer - maybe the exhaust shouldn't be let in at idle (closed egr) but it stays open? Has anyone out there solved this problem?
