Hey guys, haven't posted in a while, which means the cars been running fabulous/plus been painting.

okay gotta pick your brains for 2 secs.

ca18detgreddy emanage rb20 afm ( a31 cefiro, purple label, z32 plug. )

If i plant my foot, my car won't go over 2k. if i slowly rise the revs, i can make 4-5000 rpm.

i can hear a vacuum leak from inside the engine bay, sounds as though it's coming from the afm to turbo pipe, i have a metal one made up, but it seems to be leaking from the rubber connector hose at the bottom.

could this be right ? that it's leaking, and my ecu is picking up that it's leaning out and it's hitting the cutout point ?

many thanks, Pete

Its your MAF. Did you reprogram the ecu for the rb20 maf? 2000rpm, 2500, etc indicates limp home mode, maf problem. The vacuum your are hearing is your turbo half spooling?

If you can here a vacuum leak inside your car then you've one BIG tonkin' leak. The "leak" (if that's even what it is) you're hearing is probably from somewhere in you charge piping. Anyway, it sounds like a maf problem to me. Did you tune your ecu at all to compensate for the maf? Check for codes too.

Okay, cars been running with the same setup since last june..

Did ECU check, 55 all perfect. Did Emanage Check, no errors.

yes the car been setup for this AFM, i have rechecked and rechecked and rechecked with laptop.

I'll rip the intake pipe off, and see if theres any holes. My driveway is a hill, so i can put it under load there without having to drive to far.

coilpack was shorting out thus killed ignitor.
