Has anyone ever removed this before? I am having an issue when I run the AC where it appears to be draining in the passenger floor. I have found the drain hose and blew it out and that seems to have temporarily fixed it for a few days. I then decided to have a shop take care of it for me and that fixed it for a couple of months. Now it started happening again and I figure I might as well remove the cooling unit and clean it out. I do remember when I changed out the cabin filter and that thing was quite filthy. I assume there is quite the build up of crap in there that is probably causing it to clog up. So I found the how to for the Q45:

If it is similar, it doesn't look too bad of a job to do myself.

Thanks all!

I would work to try and clean out the box before I would ever attempt to open up the sealed system -- Use a vacuum and some compressed air to clear things out. It could be debris from outside or many some of the foam has broken loose and clogged the tube,

Opening up a working refrigeration system in an old car is just asking for trouble.
