2000 QX4 Fog Light problems

So, I have owned my 2000 QX4 for about a year and a half now and I have replaced the bulbs on my fog lights probably 3 times (6 bulbs). One bulb will go out and a couple months later, the other one will. How long are these bulbs supposed to last? I buy the 35w Sylvannia bulbs and always clean with alcohol and put them on using rubber gloves to avoid finger prints. Just curious if these things are meant to go out as often, or if switching to LED will alleviate having to replace them ever again or as often.

I haven't replaced the factory fog light bulbs on my 2002 I bought it new 14 years ago. It has 104k miles. I'd say about 1/4 of the miles has fog light on.
