I have a Q45 Anniv. Edition and a wrecked I30t. Both are 2000. The Q45 has one headlight out. It may be the xenon bulb or the ballast. My question, can I use the working bulbs and ballasts from the I30 and install them in the Q45 (both are xenon, but different kinds). I just bought the Q45 and am low on funds after mechanical repairs, registration, insurance, etc. The headlamp swap would be a temporary fix. I'm hoping that I can make this swap without some electrical gremlin creeping up about wiring, watts or hertz or whatever that may be mismatched between the D2R (Q45) and the 9006/H4 (I30). Let me know if this will work or will I short something out or cause grave damage to the electricals by plugging in the different xenon type in the Q45.
Help... i'm trying to save money... on something (d*mn).
Thanks
BJ
