This is my first post. I've been lurking reading the forums for quiet a while. I own a 2000 Q45, I purchased it new in 2001 and it's still under warranty. I'm up to 18,000 miles. Here is my Q's problem. When driving around city streets and I lift off the throttle, I can feel and just slightly hear a backlash(Clunk sound). I took it in to the dealer, they had the shop foreman drive it around with me and he said he didn't notice it. I've managed to narrow it down to this. It only happens between 42-50mph and in 4th gear. It doesn't do it in 3rd gear with the overdrive switched off. So, I'm thinking it's related to the 4th gear in the trasmission. I'm pretty sure it's not downshifting back into 3rd causing this. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction before I take it back in to have it looked at again. Thanks!
