Hi. New to this forum. Bought car used. Not getting any heat/air-flow from back window vent. Otherwise the heat is great in all the other parts of the car. What fuses may be linked to this issue? What other things could I check into? My car repair experience is medium. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to NICOclub.

I have to clarify. Are both the front and rear defrost buttons pushed to ON?

:welcome: to NICO!

I'm not sure what you're referring to by "back window vent." Unless I'm mistaken (which is possible since I've never owned that series of Q) - there is no air ducted to the rear of the car except for vents that come out under the seats, or possibly in the back of the center console. The back window would be defrosted by thin flat wires attached to the glass.

I have tryed all different configurations of buttons on this issue and it doesn't matter. According to the owner's manual you should get heat at the back window after hitting the "auto" button on either the settings of feet only or head & feet. Thanks

There are vents on the package shelf just in front of the rear window. My wife's ford has them also. I don't believe they are actively functional though, they don't distribute heating or cooling from the climate control system. I think they are just passive ventilators.

But I could be wrong.

On page 4-5 the owner's manual talks about getting heat at the "rear ventilator" which is the vent in the back of the center console. The different "ventilators" are identified on page 4-2.
