2000 Q Sunroof Problems

I've searched both recent and archived, nothing on this. I just replaced the battery on my 2000 Q 45. Had it out about an hour while I cleaned up the cable of corrosion. After I installed the new battery, the sunroof doe not open the same as before. Push the slide open button all the way once and it opens about 3", push again and another 3" till you finally get it all the way open. Before the battery change it would automatically open all the way with one push. Same thing on close. Same problem with the tilt button now, only opens partway with each push. Also the tilt down will now close the roof and it you push it again, will start to slide roof open 3" at a time. Seems to me to be a programing issue which has changed since the car had no power for an hour. Any help would be appreciated!!

hmmm maybe try resetting the ecu by disconnecting the negative terminal overnight? Changed it once, maybe it will change it again!
