2000 Pathfinder Passenger Door Electronics?

I love my pathfinder, but I've had an issue come up that (while I can deal with it, the wife apparently can't) - on the passenger door, the electronics seem to have stopped working. Passenger window switch won't work to lower the windows (unless you really jam on it), while the driver side switch will work fine. The lock on the passenger side only works manually, not via the lock button (on any door).

I'm guessing that it's likely wiring? Is there a decent way to test it before ripping the door apart? I'm decent with electronics, but my mechanical skills are in the 'I can make it work eventually' category. Hence I want to avoid having the door torn apart for an extended period of time.

The switch is probably at fault. Try finding a replacement at a junkyard.

I haven't had much luck finding a cheap (or even local) switch. One thing that I have done is I've gone through and back-probed all the connections off the switch. The continuity check on pressing down and up both check out. Having the switch out of the door panel, I doublechecked it, and it works fine going up, but to go down, I have to really jam on it. Is there something else to try to doublecheck before I order one?

Maybe try spraying with electronics cleaner? I use the stuff made by GUNK called electronic parts cleaner found at AutoZone for a few bucks.

I bought one off EBAY. It was faulty also would not lock and pass. window not working. May get lucky at junk yard but buy new I feel.
