Aside from window switch issues (another topic), I also am having problems with the power lock on the passenger front side. Going through the repair manual, I've tested out all the way to the actuator. I've verified momentary -12V and 12V on the line going to the actuator when I press the lock button). I have two problems now.. 1: the next test says to try applying 12V directly to the actuator to make sure it works. I don't have a handy 12V PS, aside from a PC power supply, and I don't really feel like dragging one out to the truck. 2: I can't get the dumb thing out! It appears to be screwed into the lock assembly, and due to the cramped space, I don't have the ability to get all 4 of the control rods out of the entire assembly.

Is there something I'm missing? Aside from laughing at my curses, my wife's started not so quietly hinting that I just take it to the shop and have an 'expert' do it - I'm starting to agree...

you could always run some wires from the car battery to the actuator and test it that way, your car battery is 12v
