2000 Nissan Xterra NO Start

So I begin my saga with this truck. It had CEL for CPS. i replaced the distributor for a NEW-DEALER Distributor. It cleared all CEL but still the car does not want to start. It has SPARK and FUEL. Any Ideas?

Are you sure you installed it correctly. I think the dist. is out of time. You need to pull #1 spark plug and install compression gauge to bring #1 on compression stroke. Turn crankshaft till timing mark is on tdc. Now mark #1 plug wire on dist. Remove cap and check rotor. Does it line up with the mark? If not remove dist and turn it till it lines up.
