Have a 2000 Nissan Quest with the 3.3L V6. When I bought it, it would start and run fine for about 30 minutes or so, then it would start dying when you stopped at a red light, stop sign, etc. It would run rough and basically be undriveable until you let it cool off for quite a while, then you could start it and drive another 30 min or so without issue. The SES light was not on at this point. I replaced the distributor (read that is was a common problem with these) and thought I had it fixed, but a week later it started doing the same thing, though maybe not as consistently. This time the SES light did come on, so I had it checked and it threw the codes for the MAF sensor, TPS and one of the O2 sensors. I replaced the MAF sensor, and it is still doing the same thing, although the SES light is not on. Any suggestions on what to check/replace next? It never misses a beat until its been driven for a while and gets good and warmed up.

I'm ready to push this thing off a cliff at this point! :rotflmao

I'm new to the forum here, but I have had my van for 8 years now. Since you have already replaced the distributor, which would have been my first guess as well, the MAF Is most likely the culprit (or the electrical connection to the MAF sensor). When my TPS went out, it caused erratic shifting, and behaved as though the transmission was going out but the engine ran well.

It seems rational to replace the O2 sensor indicated by the code. I'll speculate it was the P0135 code. Read my experience in this topic: how-do-you-get-the-connector-off-the-o2 ... 43959.html
