I have a 2000 Pathfinder 3.3.Yesterday I stop for fuel. After I got fuel, I was driving home a then a few minutes later the Engine diet. I check all the fuzes, fuel pressure, check for spark. Check timing belt, cap and rotor, wires and connectors. Everything fine. Look up for codes and no codes. Can any one tell me what I'm missing. I also check the map sensor and the throttle body and connector and everything looks good.

Check the fuel lines, make sure they're not torn or damaged, etc. What happens when you try to start the car? Did you mistakenly fill up with diesel? :poke:

Pull the easiest spark plug you can reach. With that plug out, examine it. Is it wet, dry, black, white or a slight tan in colour. Pick a plug that is easily reached...is the hole where the plug came from, wet with fuel or dry.

You need, air, fuel spark and compression so test for these items:
air, clean air filter
fuel, clean fuel filter, fuel rail should be wet and about 40 PSIG, injectors should be wet, plugs should be somewhat wet
Spark, test a plug against the grounded motor, look for spark
Compression, let's assume that is OK because it just crapped out on you.

The problems are likely fuel or spark for now, but check

I also have a 2000 Pathfinder LE and experienced the same problem today. Just broke 200,000 miles.

I'm curious to see what the issue here may be, as I'll be tearing my engine apart next week to get her running again.

I had the same issue and solved it.

With your key set to the "ON" position, can you hear the fuel pump pressurizing? If so (it's a light "wizzz" coming from below your driver's side rear seat), that's not your issue.

Go through in order...

Replace battery
Replace Cap/Rotor
Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Spark Plug wires

See if that does it... I just broke 200,000 and got it running again.
