Can anyone please send me a link or any kind of helpfull information on how to take a door panel off in a 2000 pathfinder..

i know that all you have to do is rip off the plastic tab things for the bottom half; but i need to know how to take out the whole panel including the upper portion near the door handle..

i am putting new speakers up front and in the back and i am having trouble fitting the screw driver in the tight space i have with just bending the bottom portion of the panel up

---please help--thank you--

i will post picture tonight with location of all the screws.

i believe there is a total of 5 screws.

take out the clip and behind it is a screw

take out the clip and behind it is a screw

pull this off. just be careful as it is a bit fragile. then unhook all of the wire

the area in green are the location of the last three or two screws.

when all screws are off, just pull of the door panel. thats it.

Any ideas ?

I have a 99 pathy and need to replace the left mirror. Tried to take off the door panel, got 4 screws out, but got stuck with the door latch handle,(1st picture). Somehow, this latch is attached to the door even after the screw is removed.

Thanks a bunch

Here's a tip on that tool. They will scratch paint. I wrapped it from the handle all the way to the gap with electrical tape. The tape has stayed in place for many years.

A flathead screwdriver wrapped in a shop rag worked just fine for me. I threw the pics in a .doc with the instructions for anyone thats interested.

Thanks for the document, but I went out and looked at my vehicle and I couldn't find those green dots anywhere. Could they be a different color on the '99?
