2000 Nissan Maxima to rear wheel drive

So I'm new to the site and I was just wondering if anyone could answer this question. I have a 2000 maxima and I want to make it rear wheel drive will a 1990-1996 300zx transmission bolt right to the 2000 3.0 that I have. I know I could get more power out of a 3.5 out of a 350z. I much rather spend money on the fab work to make it as safe as possible so I can still drive it on the street. Thanks

I dont know if it has ever been done. It would cost A LOT and it would be better to spend money on a nicer car that's RWD like a g35 and sup it up more.
