Hey guys! Im having a hard time finding answers for my need. Ive searched internet but i havent found any answers so i thought you can help me. I recently got a 2000 Nissan Maxima engine from my dad's warehouse. He is in recycling business and he agreed to give me the engine. I havent brought it to my house but i turned the engine over and it wasnt locked. So i think its gonna work. I dont really know allot about engine cheking so idk. But my question is that can i do the swap? I want to put the engine in a s13. The engine is a 2000 Nissan Maxima. Im doing it for getting more power. I could swap a SR20DE or another "popular" engine swap but since i got the engine for free, im really feeling like i have to do something with it. Maxima is a FWD and is there anything i need to do to get the engine working besides custom stands? Can i use some other custome engine stands on the market for my engine? Can i use the original transmission from the s13, or do i have to change it? Can i use s13's ECU on the engine or do i have to use Maxima's ECU? Can i use the original parts from s13 on the engine such as alternator or the radiator on the new engine? Sorry these are allot of questions but i feel like these can help me allot. Thank you. You can email me at [email protected] but it really doesn't matter where to  answer me.  Thanks :)

Without going into a full page detailed answer..... That engine will not work out for you. End of story.

Front wheel drive engine will not work in rear wheel drive chassis without a sh*t ton of modifications. Sorry!

Way too much work/time/money involved to get that to work. Find RWD engine.

Wouldn't be worth the work since you can swap in a rwd engine a lot easier and for less money.

Drifting is overrated, throw that engine in a Volkswagen, and have the most awesome VW ever!
