My car has been turning off when I am at a stop light/sign, waiting in a drive thru line, or when I park & wait for someone to run in & out of the store. It will start up & die again. I have to start it & put it in gear really quickly and step on the gas to go or it will just shut off immediately. It doesn't do this in the morning when I first turn it on and warm it up a little. It will do it when I come to my first stop after initially turning it on & driving on the freeway for about 10 miles. It shakes a little, then it wants to turn off but doesn't. Can anybody give me any insight? This has been going on since about October already. I am probably ruining something in my car. Help me! and Thank You!

Possible air flow meter. Have someone use a scan tool to graph the GPs under WOT acceleration. it should easily surpass 120GPs early in the acceleration process. Also have them look at the alpha or fuel trim readings should be close to 100% if its 85 or below at idle the car is loading up and is likely the air flow meter. The acceleration test will seal the diagnosis. Note to the injectors should easily obtain 14 msec during the accel if the meter is bad they will struggle to make 10msec.

If you have to replace the air flow meter you need to have the ecm programmed to accept it. As far as I know only dealers have the ability to do this reprogram.
