I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima with 150k miles. The car drives great. I do have a P1320 check engine light. But I got this before and eventually I will get another code indicate which Ignition coil is bad. So, I am not too worried about that.
However, frequently on the first start in the morning or late evening after work. After I put the car in drive and step on the gas, the car is like hit a wall, no acceleration at all no matter how hard I step on the gas. But after a few mins, the car returns normal and I can drive fine with no problem. The next start and drive cycle has no problem at all if the car is warmed up. This has been happening for 2 months now. I have no idea what is the problem. Any idea? Thanks.

Possible Transmission issue. No pressure being built up. Tough one to diagnose

+1

had that happen a couple times on my 2k2. Did a transmission flush and fill with synthetic and it seemed to help. With 158k miles it only did it a couple times though.

I just did a full tuneup including trans flush. I was thinking maybe a MAF problem. But this only hit during cold startup. After that, everything feels good.
