i recently got some gargabe from ebay it was a pro module. you conncect it to the MAF when i should of connected it to the IAT. so i had splice the wires from the maf but soon put them back togther when i figured it was wrongly conncected. heres my problem, i taped them back together and the car works fine now, but before the car would shut off at least twice and the car would jerk. my engine light came on for a while to. i checked the wires and made sure they were seceruly tight. and taped them with black tape. should i just get a new MAF sensor. since i might of messed this one up? the engine light went off already and the car has been fine for a while.

If you cut the wires to the MAF it's not going to make a difference if you just replace the sensor due to the fact that the wires you cut belong to the MAF pigtail and not the sensor itself.
