2000 maxima lr window wont roll back up

just bought a 2000 nissan maxima yesterday.when we got it hom i got in the back seat and rolled the window down,and it would not roll back up.i took the door panel off and took the switch from the RR side and tried it on the LR side and it still would not go back up.next i got a light tester and check to see if i had power and i did have power.when i push the button for the window to go down you can hear a click like it wants to roll it down but the window was already as far down as it would go.but when you pull on the button to roll it back up i get no sound.

ok this is what i done and it dont make any sense.i took my light tester and pushed the button down and went through all the wires on the switch,when i finished that the window would roll back up.then you sit there for a minute or two and it wouldnt work again.so i go through the wires again with the button pushed down and wham the window starts working again.where is my problem at???????????????????

Sounds like a bad switch.

ive tried the switch from the passenger side and i know it will roll thje passenger side up and down.it still wouldnt make the window roll back up.now i cant get the window to roll up or down anymore.

Make sure you've not turned it off with the window lock button.Otherwise, off to eBay for a motor/regulator.

fixed it.it was bad switch in the drivers door.had to replace the whole cluster
