I have replaced the MAF, had the EGR ports cleaned and fuel induction service performed recently. And, all coil packs replaced 2 years ago. Cranks fine and idles ok until I put it in reverse and then it acts like it wants to die. 145,000 miles and is in show room condition, but car is breaking me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Probably, it just needs to clear the self-learn & perform idle air volume -learn or ecm reprogram, depends on ur ecm number if it's applicable. Which only can be done at your nissan dealer.

Or by going to an autoparts store.... or unplugging the battery.

Did you ever find out what the problem was?
