2000 maxima check engine code 1165 and 1131

i have a 2000 Nissan Maxima that change the engine out, the engine i had was a Cali engine that had the VISA and Swirl control valve setup. I change that engine with a Federal Engine which only had the VISA setup. When i started my engine and let it run for a while the check engine soon light came on with the codes 1165 and 1131. What I need to know is will this engine work with this ECU or would I need to get one that works with Federal engine.
