My 2000 maxima GLE, auto, 79k, replaced ECM, revs high with no power while shifting from 1st to 2nd gear at slow speeds. I have to either let up on the gas for it to shift or it needs to reach about 3500 rpm before it shifts, usually takes a second or two to shift.

Any suggestions on what it could be?

iacv = Intake Air Control Valve, basically your throttle body bottom end with sensor

reset your ECU by taking out the battery for 15 minutes, reinstall it, start it, then let it idle for 11 minutes so you ECU can relearn. take it for a drive around the neighborhood following the speed limit, and accelerate normally. then take it to an open road and to a few stop-start tests by putting the pedal to the floor, this will allow your ECU to relearn your shift points....then repost and let us know what happened

This worked for about 90% of the problem. Still does it and almost always in the same location on certain streets. Usually when going slightly downhill while car is rolling then giving it gas. But it is much better.

Any other suggestionsThanks
