2000 Maxima airbox problems

Cant seem to get the intake to stay connected very well to the air box...any suggetstions?

??? what part are you talking about? do you mean the air box where the filter sits? becasue there is just screws from that to the MAF tube? or do you mean the tube that bends and connects to the throttle body?

There's two pieces that fit together, and the fit insured by a collar, and there's some foam insulation or something that always wears out, and the collar ends up slipping around.

Before I hit a deer and got all my intake parts replaced, the fitment problem was mitigated by duct tape and the GAB mod.
