2000 infinti i30 T power seats

my driver seat goes up and down also tilts but cannot go back and forth it is stuck all the way back (can't get to the back bolts to tack the seat out )

The power seat motor is probably bad.

I had the same problem with my 01 i30. As I am about 6'2'' I drive with the seat all the way back. When the wife tried to drive the seat would not go forward.

Just by luck I sat into the seat and pressed the button to roll the seat forward and slightly tugged the seat forward. The motor must have caught the grove cause the seat is working now.

I had the same problem with my passenger side. I took a plastic hammer and hit the motor a few times. Works like a charm now.2001 i30t
