I was wondering if it's possible to stick something into the Infiniti I30t stock Bose stereo system that would enable it to hook up to my smartphone? I had a Kenwood stereo in my truck that I could hook a patch cord into both the stereo then my phone so I could listen to the music I had on my phone through my truck speakers. I was just wondering if there was something that could be hooked up to the Bose stereo in the Infiniti that would enable me to do the same.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just replaced the bose head unit with an appradio 3 and I love it. The sound is much better, bluetooth, etc.
But if you really want to keep your stock system, I see no difference in finding a way to wire to the back of the system verus getting a $10 casette tape aux player from Walmart.
They work. You can play music, etc and receive calls. You will hear your call over your stereo but you will still need to use the phone mic (which is often better anyhow)

Not the anwer you were specifically looking for but it's something.

Joe, thanks for the reply. Do you think I can plug my phone into that cassette rig and play songs off it through the car stereo?
