Just bought a 2000 Infiniti I30. The leather on the steering wheel and shift knob is shot. (I am thinking Wheelskins will solve this. Anybody have other ideas, let me know.) Also, whoever owned the car before used some kind of cleaner that took the finish off the plastic surround/bezel around the radio/AC/etc. Looks aweful! I am thinking I can strip the rest of the finish off and spray paint it, or purchase a wood trim kit that would cover most.

Thoughts? Advice on where to find these things?

Thanks!(5 time Nissan/Infiniti owner-3 Maximas, 1 Pathfinder, 1 Infiniti)

Welcome to NICO!

I found this wood trim kit HERE.

And from looking at Wheelskins, that looks like a great option, even one that I might look into for my Q.

wheel skins...go for it!!

before you go with the wood trim option think of the cars interior colors. What color is the leather?what color are the seats, carpet and dash?

if you have a grey interior, i would recomend an aluminum trim kit instead b/c grey and wood don't look the best.

if you have black interior it would look NIIIICE!

if you have Tan interior it would look classic, but i would do a darker wood finish if you have that option!
