You need to be carefull purchasing a catalyst off the internet. There is a certain proceedure all new and certified cats must pass in order to be legally used on the road. I know Cali is especially stringent with their emissions policies. You may want to save your pennies and get one from the dealer. It is indeed one of the most expensive wearable items on a car but if you do it right you should be able to get another 100k out of a new one.

Good luck with whatever you choose. Remeber we are always here to advise and assits if you need it.
