2000 i30 Aftermarket Stereo HELP

I have a 2000 i30 and I want to get an aftermarket cd player installed so I can hook up the subwoofers I have for it.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a dash kit to fit this car?

Do a google search for "I30 Metra kit".

If you are replacing the HU and adding sub(s), this would be the best time to go ahead and replace the speakers as well. If not, you will replace them in the future anyway (assuming you like sound quality)

What speakers would you recommend?

Speakers are pretty subjective based on taste, brand pref and cost. Personally I like MB Quart and JL. Listen to a few sets of 6.5" seperates and determine which ones you like best. That's probably the best thing to do.

The Maxima kit will probably work. I would wait until a I30 owner can speak up to validate.

The Maxima dash kit will not fit. The I30/I35 dash is slightly wider on A33s.

You either have to go custom or order an OEM dash kit from a Taiwanese Nissan Cefiro.

go to crutchfield - they provide everything (kit is free sometimes) and if you have bose they provide the adapter as well...
