2000 I-30 stalling after being started.

In the last two months my I-30 will start just fine then after about 30 seconds it stalls, when I restart it, sometimes it runs and other times it stalls again. Usually the third time if fine. Any Ideas anyone? Thanks

Unfortunately there aren't a lot of experienced I30/35 owners here - so getting an answer based on common experience isn't as likely. For instance if someone posts up a question like "my Q45 had a loud hum in the trunk for six months, now it doesn't run" there will be 50 guys jumping to the keyboard saying "replace the fuel pump and controller" because it's really common on the Q45 and many of us have been there personally.

I hate to suggest another forum - but I think I would seek out a really active Maxima forum and ask there too...

Does your check engine light ever come on? I went over to Infinitihelp.com and checked out the TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) and there are several available, but most refrence specific error codes and the "MIL" being on...

Yes, the check engine light comes on and when I check the code it says Bank #1 too lean. I reset it and in a couple days its back on. I will try Infinitihelp.com and see if theres anything there, Thanks for the help
